Pick of the Week - Wizards/Zolasko (Botswana)

A high energy Botswana-styled collaboration from Wizards and Zolasko.

I couldn't dig up a lot of background for this Pick of the Week. Just the music.

If I've got it straight, Wizards of the Desert were an old-school Botswana group, who later came back around and reformed as just Wizards. They collaborate on this song with Zolasko. He was featured here in a previous Pick of the Week.

As for the music, it's jittery guitars, aggressive vocals and the rat a tat tat percussion that seems to pretty much be a Botswana thing. I still can't figure out the distinction between kwassa kwassa or kwassa kwaito or house kwassa or whatever other tag might be applied to this style of music. But it's great stuff.
