I've been listening to a lot of Oliver Mtukudzi lately. There are worse ways to spend your time. But, musically speaking, there aren't many better ways to spend your time. Just my opinion. I've already featured Tuku's music twice so far, here and here, but here we go again.
"Pfimbika" is understated - in a really good way - and does a lot with only a few ingredients. The song is driven by bass, something that sounds like a marimba, and Tuku's vocals. Then, after things get going, in come the background vocals to put the icing on the cake. Don't miss it.
