Pick of the Week - Culture Spears (Botswana)

Culture Spears release "Mookodi," a new single.

Sometimes I know ahead of time what's going to be the next Pick of the Week. Other times I'm not quite sure. Then I find myself - on Friday or even Saturday - sorting through the large pile of songs I've set aside until I find just the right one. It ain't exactly rocket science, but it gets the job done.

I ended up on YouTube yesterday, as one often does. Its fabled and mighty algorithms, noticing a lot of Culture Spears in my history, popped up a song billed as a new single. It was posted a mere two hours earlier.

Which was kind of exciting.
