In the short time since I starting diving deeply into the music of Botswana, I've become a great fan and something of a cheerleader. As I've mentioned before, Botsawana is bordered by South Africa and Zimbabwe and their music tends to be overshadowed by the music of their neighbors. Which is too bad, because there's a lot of great music there. I'll be featuring more Botswanan music as time goes on, but for now it's back to a previous Pick Of The Week - Culture Spears.

Who have been at it for several decades now. Over time it seems that they have experienced some of the ups and downs that come with celebrity. Members have come and gone and some came back again, but as this 2018 article notes, many group members came back together and are apparently still at to this day.
