Pick of the Week - Amayenge (Zambia)

According to the liner notes, Amayenge were the most popular band in the country at the time, having played at the 1988 WOMAD festival and in Libya, USSR, and Zimbabwe. Started in 1978, they're apparently still a going concern today.
