Taking a week or so to focus on some of the unique guitar music of Botswana

Music of Africa is coming up on our first year of doing what we do. Our first post way back when featured Botswanan guitar music. So it seems appropriate to circle back and revisit some of that music this week.

I've become quite taken with the music of Western & Company lately and a number of the posts this week will feature their music. The lineup typically features guitarist Western, his wife Maungo, and Benjamin. Some of their videos feature a slightly expanded lineup. It's nothing fancy, but it's great stuff.
