Ever since assembling Music of Africa's Malawi playlist, I've been in Malawi mode. That's a good thing.

Earlier this year, I featured a song from Malawi that turned out to be one of my favorites. I don't know if this one can top it (and of course it's all subjective) but they've come close with today's Bonus Pick of the Week.

The group is Amaratili 77 and it's composed of Edgar Solomon and Oyamba Jimjim. Who have a habit of gathering together groups of dancing, partying people for their videos.

I can't quite pin down what it is they do so well and what makes their music so appealing. The more I write about music and try to describe it in words, the more I find that words fail me.
